If you’ve never felt compelled to spend ridiculous amounts of money to fight your basic acne problems, let me explain how this works.

STEP ONE: RENEWING CLEANSER
In this step, you rub your face vigorously with what feels like salicylic acid mixed with finely ground gravel. The bottle says you should “massage” the cleaner into your face for 1-2 minutes. Sometimes it helps me if I think of this step as “scrubbing away the ugly.”

STEP TWO: REVITALIZING TONER
Now that you have rubbed your face raw in the first step, put some toner on a cotton ball and dab the affected area (aka your ugly face that you are trying to fix). Some days this step doesn’t bother me at all, but most days it feels like this:

STEP THREE: REPAIRING TREATMENT
Now that you’ve punished yourself and scared the acne away, reward yourself with a gentle “repairing” lotion. Look in the mirror. Your face looks shiny and new (because you’ve literally scrubbed off a layer of skin). You can enjoy it for 8-10 hours at which time you will have to repeat this process.

#peopleireallyreallyreallywannabe

#peopleireallyreallyreallywannabe

Photo

New post on my new tumblr. Follow it.

Just finished watching Star Wars Episode III. Wanna know how I could tell it was all put together by boys? A wide diversity of fictional alien races completed in great detail, vast futuristic cityscapes, elaborate special effects and fight scenes…and Natalie Portman gets a pillow stuffed up her dress and is supposed to be carrying not one but two babies to nearly full term. Nice try George Lucas.

Anakin gets his legs cut off and is set aflame…they have ways to make him live another 20+ years. Padme dies in childbirth while some droid with salad tossers for hands announces there’s nothing that can be done. Like I am so sure.

I know it’s all conditional and I know it all depends on the day and I know I haven’t seen the bracket. That being said, I’ve been laughed at when I claim that I think my team has a reasonable shot at seeing the Final Four. I don’t understand why because…

a) Did anyone see us play Duke on the road? We kept up for a good amount
of the game and that was when the team was essentially in a tumultuous
state and Draymond and Delvon had a combined seven turnovers in the first
half alone. Needless to say, our big men have come a long way since then, and Delvon now leads our team defensively while Draymond is just an overall
leader. Imagine our performance if Delvon and Draymond played that game like they play these days.

b) Not only did we nearly beat Ohio State on the road, but we beat
Wisconsin, who took out the Buckeyes in the regular season. If we can keep
up with the nation’s number one team for three quarters of a game (with
Durrell basically checked out for that one), I don’t see why it’s unreasonable
to say I’m holding out for a Final Four appearance.

c) Nobody’s really seen our team play at 100% yet. We caught a glimpse when we played OSU and nearly won it for the upset of the century, but we didn’t have Durrell and as much as he drives me crazy sometimes, we need him.

d) Uh, hello. It’s March and our team is under the command of Tom Izzo. Let’s not count anything out. That man could take a team of 8-year-old girls to the Sweet Sixteen.

In short, we’re coming into the tournament with something to prove. I know the losses to U of M hurt. At the same time, March is our time to shine and it always has been. We have incredible upperclassmen leaders who have seen two Final Fours working with ambitious freshmen who are more than eager to prove themselves. We have Nix and Kebler, who are coming in with the experience of a successful tournament with about twice the presence they had last year. We have Lucas, who sat out last year and watched his team lose to Butler. We have Green, who has been nothing short of a leader in every sense of the word, and we have Summers, who has everything to prove.

Lucious who?

Today there was a face painter in the cafeteria. Win.

Today there was a face painter in the cafeteria. Win.

God, I want to be her. So so so so badly.

God, I want to be her. So so so so badly.

I miss summertime.

I miss summertime.

Photo

january 25

Today I got caught drawing pokemon during class.
